Haringey Council's cabinet is scheduled to discuss the council's financial performance, proposed policy changes, and housing projects at its meeting on 9 December 2025. They will also discuss the Haringey's Climate Change Adaptation & Resilience Action Plan, and proposed changes to school admissions. Some items, relating to contracts and financial information, will be discussed in private due to the commercially sensitive nature of the information.

Under Special Urgency - Provision of social care services including residential care, supported housing, supported living and day services/outreach, Cabinet Member Signing - Friday, 28th November, 2025 11.00 am

Councillor Lucia das Neves, Cabinet Member for Health, Social Care, and Wellbeing, approved the direct award of short-term emergency continuity contracts to a new provider for adult social care services, including residential care, supported housing, supported living, and day services/outreach, following the insolvency of the current provider. The contracts are for an initial term of one year, from 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2026, with the option to extend for up to a further year, up to a maximum aggregate value of £4.502m (if fully extended). Councillor Das Neves also delegated authority to the Director of Adults Social Care to finalise the terms of the award and the contracts, and agreed to provide transitional financial support if required to maintain safe staffing and service continuity during mobilisation and handover, subject to appropriate governance and financial controls.

Full Council - Monday, 24th November, 2025 7.30 pm

The Full Council of Haringey was scheduled to meet on 24 November 2025, to discuss a range of issues including reports from various committees, motions on rented homes and rough sleeping, and questions to cabinet members.

Cabinet - Tuesday, 11th November, 2025 6.30 pm

The Haringey Council cabinet convened to discuss and make decisions on a range of important issues, including housing, education, social care, and financial planning. The cabinet approved tendering processes for building new council homes at Kings Road Car Park and Tiverton Estate, and agreed to consult on proposed school admission arrangements for 2027/28. They also approved the Adult Carers Strategy 2025-2028 and a draft Homelessness Strategy for consultation, alongside addressing fire safety with new fire door contracts.

Health and Wellbeing Board - Thursday, 6th November, 2025 2.00 pm

The Haringey Council Health and Wellbeing Board meeting included discussion of the Haringey Neighbourhood Health and Care Update, the Haringey Tobacco Control Strategy, and the Haringey Local Plan Consultation. The board was also scheduled to discuss the minutes from the previous meeting, and future agenda items.
