The meeting approved the appointments of a new Chief Executive and an interim Monitoring Officer for Surrey County Council. Councillors also received apologies from absent Councillors.

People, Performance and Development Committee - Tuesday, 9 April 2024 11.30 am

The People, Performance and Development Committee agreed to recommend that the council approve an updated version of its Officer Code of Conduct at its next meeting. They also discussed a number of staffing matters and reports that are due to be considered at future meetings.

Cabinet - Tuesday, 26 March 2024 2.00 pm

The Cabinet of Surrey County Council met on 26 March 2024 and made a number of decisions on subjects ranging from school building works to advertising policy. Notably, the Cabinet approved, in principle, the latest phase of the Surrey Infrastructure Plan, including new flood alleviation schemes. The Cabinet also discussed the future of advertising on Surrey's roads, and decided to write to the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) to understand how they are considering the environmental impact of advertising high-carbon products and services.

Surrey-Wide Commissioning Committees in Common - Wednesday, 20 March 2024 10.00 am

This meeting was about the adoption of a new procurement strategy for mental health and social care in Surrey. It also included a report on spending from a mental health investment fund and a proposal for how to spend what was left in the fund. The meeting also received an update on the award of contracts for supported housing for adults with learning disabilities and those with mental health difficulties.
