New York Deli, Unit 23-24 Friars Square Shopping Centre, Aylesbury, HP20 2SP (Application, Licensing (Premises) Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 22nd July, 2025 6.30 pm

Buckinghamshire Council's Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider an application for a new premises licence for the New York Deli in Aylesbury. The sub-committee heard arguments for and against the application, and ultimately decided to grant the licence, subject to conditions.

Licensing (Public Protection) Committee - Thursday, 17th July, 2025 6.30 pm

The Licensing (Public Protection) Committee met to discuss the Draft Street Trading Consent Policy Post-Consultation Review. Councillors agreed in principle to proposed amendments to the council's draft street trading consent policy on regulating street trading, modified following public consultation, prior to a resolution to full council regarding the adoption of Schedule 4 Local Government Act 1982 in respect of consent streets. The committee also agreed that the date of the next meeting would be Tuesday 23 September 2025.

Council - Wednesday, 9th July, 2025 4.00 pm

The Buckinghamshire Council met to discuss several key issues, including the appointment of a returning officer, cabinet member reports, and motions related to local plans and funding. Councillors approved the appointment of Lisa Marie Williams as the returning officer and electoral registration officer, and also approved a motion to engage with water and sewage providers on capacity investment in the local plan. A motion regarding transparency of member fees was referred to the Standards and General Purpose Committee.

West Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee - Wednesday, 2nd July, 2025 6.30 pm

The West Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee met to discuss planning applications in the area, including a proposal to convert a pub into a house of multiple occupation, which was refused. Councillors also approved plans for new homes in Hazlemere, and replacement fencing at a sports pitch in Cressex.

Licensing (Premises) Committee - Tuesday, 17th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Buckinghamshire Council Licensing (Premises) Committee convened to appoint a Vice Chairman, approve the minutes from the previous meeting, and confirm the date of the next meeting. Councillor Chris Chilton was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Committee. The minutes of the meeting held on 21 May 2025 were approved, and the next meeting was scheduled for 17 July 2025.
