Children, Young People and Education Scrutiny Commission - Wednesday, 18 June 2025 5:30 pm

The Children, Young People and Education Scrutiny Commission met to discuss the Families First Programme, a performance dashboard for social care and education, and an improvement plan for children's social care, early help, and prevention. The commission was also scheduled to discuss questions raised by Dr Nizamuddin Patel regarding Ofsted's report on children's services. The meeting also included an introduction to the CYPE Scrutiny Commission.

Special Meeting, Housing Scrutiny Commission - Thursday, 12 June 2025 5:30 pm

The Housing Scrutiny Commission met to discuss a call-in of an executive decision regarding a report by the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSCO). The LGSCO report concerned a finding of maladministration causing injustice in a housing case. Councillors were asked to consider the call-in and decide whether to endorse, challenge, or withdraw it.
