The Bromley Council Executive is scheduled to meet to discuss a proposal to use £27.6m of funding from the Local Authority Housing Fund 4 (LAHF4) grant programme to support permanent measures to reduce the cost pressures of temporary accommodation. The meeting will also cover the addition of the Chipperfield Road Site to the Capital Programme, and the submission of the Chipperfield scheme to the Local Authority Housing Fund 4 programme.

The Bromley Council meeting on 8 December 2025 was scheduled to cover a range of topics, including the Council Tax Support Scheme, treasury management performance, corporate governance, committee appointments and motions. There was also an opportunity for councillors and members of the public to ask questions.

Executive - Wednesday 26 November 2025 7.00 pm

At a meeting of the Bromley Council Executive, councillors agreed to maintain the existing Council Tax Support Scheme for 2026/27, noted a projected net overspend on services of £16.672m, and approved a five-year extension to the Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL) Library Service Contract. They also authorised the appropriation of land at Castlecombe Youth Centre Car Park for housing and agreed on a procurement strategy for education capital works.

General Purposes and Licensing Committee - Wednesday 12 November 2025 7.00 pm

The General Purposes and Licensing Committee of Bromley Council is scheduled to meet on 12 November 2025. The agenda includes the annual complaints report, the teacher pay policy, arrangements for the 2026 local council elections, and a draft member induction programme. Also on the agenda is the Code of Corporate Governance, appointment to the Rights of Way Sub-Committee, the work programme, and minutes from previous Licensing Sub-Committee meetings.
