The Cornwall Health and Wellbeing Board and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Partnership are holding a meeting to discuss several key issues, including the strategic commissioning framework for neighbourhood health, the Better Care Fund, pharmaceutical needs, health determinants research, mental health, safeguarding adults, and the NHS 5 Year Plan. The meeting will also cover updates from the ICB and councils, as well as reports from life course steering groups.

The Together for Families Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss several key issues affecting children and families in Cornwall, including child poverty, adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and home to school transport. The committee reviewed the Director of Public Health's annual report on child poverty and recommended that the Cabinet approve both the Cornwall Joint SEND Commissioning Strategy and the Cornwall SEND Strategic Plan, with an ambition to reach 100% compliance. They also discussed the progress of Curriculum Kernewek and home to school travel assistance.

The Committee in Common between Cornwall Health and Wellbeing Board and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Partnership met to discuss several key issues, including the Better Care Fund, child poverty, and sexual and reproductive health. The committee ratified the decision to submit the Better Care Fund quarter 1 return to NHS England, endorsed the Director of Public Health Annual Report focusing on child poverty, and delegated authority to endorse the Ten Year Sexual and Reproductive Health Strategy. Additionally, the committee reviewed joint priorities, a forward plan, and reports from Life Course Steering Groups.
