Gloucestershire County Council's Cabinet met on Wednesday 28 January 2026 to discuss and approve the Medium Term Financial Strategy for 2026/27 to 2029/30, which includes a proposed revenue budget of £697.8 million and a Band D council tax increase of 4.99%. The Cabinet also agreed to adopt Gloucestershire's Multi-Agency School Attendance Strategy 2025-2028 and approved the publication of the Gloucestershire Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
