The Appointments & Disciplinary Committee are scheduled to meet to discuss the appointment of an Interim Corporate Director of Sustainable Communities, Regeneration & Economic Recovery. At a meeting of Croydon Council, the lead commissioner gave a statement on behalf of the commissioners, the council approved recommendations regarding external audit findings and extension to the term of the Independent Chair of Audit and Governance Committee, and councillors debated traffic calming measures on Spa Hill and improvements to Courtwood Park. The council also discussed a range of questions from the public, including concerns about building safety at The Fold and Malcolm Wicks House.

The Croydon Council Appointments and Disciplinary Committee met to progress the appointment of a Director of Assets and Repairs and a Director of Planning and Sustainable Regeneration. Shortlisted candidates for both positions were interviewed in a closed session following the public portion of the meeting.

The Croydon Council Appointments and Disciplinary Committee met to progress to the interview stage for the role of Director of Assets and Repairs. The committee also approved the minutes of the previous meeting. Due to the confidential nature of the interviews, the public and press were excluded from the remainder of the meeting.

The Appointments and Disciplinary Committee met to discuss the extension of the term of the Independent Chair of the Audit and Governance Committee, and to agree the salary packages for four director posts. The committee agreed to recommend to full council that the term of Dr Olu Olasodi as chair of the Audit and Governance Committee be extended for a further two years. They also approved the salary packages and shortlisting processes for the Director of Property, Procurement and Capital, the Director of Planning and Sustainable Regeneration, the Director of Streets and Environment, and the Director of Assets and Repairs.
