Special Meeting, Executive - Friday 12 December 2025 10.30 am
The Bromley Council Executive met to discuss and approve a proposal to utilise £27.633m of funding from the Local Authority Housing Fund 4 (LAHF4) for the Chipperfield Road development. The council agreed to add the Chipperfield Road Site to the Capital Programme, submit the Chipperfield scheme to the LAHF4 programme, and proceed with various procurement actions, including the appointment of a Multi-Disciplinary Design Team. The Executive also authorised a public consultation on the designs and submission of a planning application.

At a meeting of the Bromley Council Executive, councillors agreed to maintain the existing Council Tax Support Scheme for 2026/27, noted a projected net overspend on services of £16.672m, and approved a five-year extension to the Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL) Library Service Contract. They also authorised the appropriation of land at Castlecombe Youth Centre Car Park for housing and agreed on a procurement strategy for education capital works.
Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education - Monday 3 November 2025 6.00 pm
The Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) met to discuss revisions to the religious education syllabus, collective worship guidance, and to approve the annual report. The council approved the revised SACRE constitution, the Bromley Agreed Syllabus documents, and agreed to finalise collective worship guidance for schools, with example resources to be developed later in the academic year. Members also received national and local updates on religious education and interfaith initiatives.
