The Overview and Scrutiny Committee of Hounslow Council met to discuss the council's delivery plan, support for unpaid carers, and the committee's work programme. The council also discussed tributes to the late Councillor Sukhbir Singh Dhaliwal, petitions, licensing policies, scrutiny reports, the appointment of a Chief Executive, appointments to committees, and motions on waste, child poverty, and culture.

The panel was also scheduled to hear from patient and resident representatives.

The committee approved the Sega Site development, after adding a condition to reduce parking provision, and also approved the Griffin Park redevelopment.

The Planning Committee of Hounslow Council met on 7 August 2025, to discuss several planning applications, including a major redevelopment project at 1 Burlington Lane, Chiswick, and temporary use requests for Gunnersbury Park. Councillors approved the Burlington Lane development despite concerns about its impact on heritage assets, and approved the temporary use of Gunnersbury Park for a music event, while also considering applications related to Rivers Academy and a certificate of lawfulness for 10 Almorah Road.
