Positions, Voting Record & Activity Summary

Last updated: 9 days ago

Aktharul Alam's council service, as recorded, shows a recent focus on budgetary matters, particularly in 2025. His most significant recorded action in recent years was voting in favor of the recommendations for the Final Budget Proposals for 2025/26 during the March 24th Council Meeting. This indicates a direct engagement with the council's financial planning for the upcoming fiscal year.

Prior to this, 2024 shows no recorded activity for Aktharul Alam in council meetings, including specific instances like the Licensing (2003 Act) Sub-Committee meeting. This absence of documented participation in 2024 contrasts with his more recent engagement in 2025.

While his overall recorded presence and speaking engagements appear limited, especially in the latter half of 2025 where he was present but not actively speaking in Audit and Governance Committee meetings, his vote on the budget in 2025 highlights a key priority in fiscal responsibility and resource allocation. The limited data suggests a potential evolution towards more focused engagement on critical financial decisions, with a notable absence of activity in the preceding year. His contributions, therefore, are most prominently seen in his direct involvement with the council's financial proposals in the most recent year of record.

Yearly Activity Timeline
