All requests for travel assistance were refused, with the exception of two appeals relating to Helston Community College and one relating to Cubert School, which were deferred.

The Cornwall Council Appeals Committee met on 18 August 2025, chaired by Councillor James O'Keefe, to discuss requests for travel assistance to attend schools in Cornwall. Travel assistance was approved for a pupil to attend Nancealverne School in Redruth, but was refused for pupils attending Bodmin College, Oak Tree School in Bude, Red Moor School in Liskeard, and The Roseland Academy in St Austell. An appeal regarding travel assistance to Brannel School was settled prior to the meeting.
