Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday 15 July 2025 9:45 am

The Kingston upon Thames Council Licensing Sub-Committee met to discuss an application for a new premises licence for Tacos MX Kingston and an application for a variation of premises licence for Rose Cottage Service Station. The committee agreed to consider the minutes of previous meetings held on 1 and 3 July 2025 as a correct record, although Councillor Anne Owen was unable to confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 3 July 2025. The sub-committee then heard the submissions for both applications but deferred making a decision until a later date.

Council - Tuesday 8 July 2025 7:30 pm

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Council met to debate petitions regarding parking charges and pension fund investments, as well as to discuss a motion on welfare reform. Councillors agreed to establish a cross-party task force to review pension fund investments and also voted to campaign against changes to disability benefits. The council also formally recognised John Azar OBE, for being admitted to the status of Honorary Freeman of the Royal Borough.

Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee - Thursday 3 July 2025 7:30 pm

The Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee met to discuss community grants, traffic management orders, and parking regulations. The committee approved funding for grants to Man & Boy and Voices of Hope, and approved traffic management orders relating to the removal of parking on Rolls Road and parking regulations for the Cambridge Road Estate.

Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee - Wednesday 18 June 2025 7:00 pm

The Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee met to discuss neighbourhood working arrangements and allocate funding from the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL). The committee de-established its planning sub-committee, and approved funding for a number of local projects, including improvements to the Half Mile Tree, a wildlife pond extension at Latchmere Recreation Ground, and riverbank restoration at Canbury Gardens.

People Committee - Tuesday 17 June 2025 7:30 pm

The People Committee convened to discuss several key issues, including an update on the SEND Futures plan, the approval of a healthier advertising policy, and the extension of adult social care passenger transport provision. Councillors also reviewed and approved updates to the Cambridge Road Estate project, the annual housing landlord complaints report, and the housing resident engagement strategy.
