The Council met on Wednesday 18 March 2026 to discuss the potential creation of a Foundation Strategic Authority for Northamptonshire. The meeting also included provisions for public participation and councillor questions.

The Council approved changes to political balance on its committees and adopted the Pay Policy Statement for 2026/27. They also approved the Corporate Parenting Strategy, which sets out the council's vision, priorities, and commitments to children in care and care-experienced young people.
