Licensing Regulatory Committee - Thursday, 18th September, 2025 6.30 p.m.

The Licensing Regulatory Committee met to consider the application for the renewal of the Sexual Entertainment Venue (SEV) licence for The Nags Head, located at 17-19 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1DU. The committee heard from the applicant, objectors, and considered reports from council officers, before adjourning to make a decision. The decision was deferred and will be made at a later date.

Licensing Sub Committee - Tuesday, 22nd July, 2025 6.30 p.m.

The Licensing Sub Committee met to discuss an application for a club premises certificate for Pelican House, and an application for a new premises licence for Niu Hot Pot. Councillors also agreed to extend the decision deadline for applications relating to Audi Store, M&M Local and Pick.

Council - Wednesday, 16th July, 2025 7.00 p.m.

The Tower Hamlets Council meeting on 16 July 2025 addressed several key issues, including petitions related to community assets and funding, and the ongoing continuous improvement journey required by the government. While motions on housing and child poverty were submitted, they were not debated due to time constraints.

The Licensing Sub Committee met to discuss a new premises licence for Asia Villa and Fermo Studio. The sub committee adjourned into a private session after the meeting to discuss the applications and will deliver their decisions within five working days.

Licensing Regulatory Committee - Tuesday, 3rd June, 2025 7.15 p.m.

The Licensing Regulatory Committee was scheduled to meet on Tuesday, 3 June 2025, to appoint a vice-chair and note the committee's terms of reference, membership, and quorum for the municipal year 2025/2026. The meeting was also scheduled to remind members to declare any interests they may have had in the items on the agenda.
