The Housing and Regeneration Policy and Scrutiny Committee of Westminster Council met on 20 November 2025. Councillor Hamza Taouzzale, Chair of the Committee, was scheduled to preside over the meeting. The main item for discussion was the call-in of a cabinet decision regarding the future of the Pimlico District Heating Undertaking.

Council - Wednesday 12th November, 2025 7.00 pm

Westminster City Council met on Wednesday 12 November 2025, and approved the programme of meetings for 2026/2027, and a constitutional update relating to the delegation of functions under the London Squares Preservation Act 1931. Councillors also debated and approved a motion standing united against the rise of the far right and in support of inclusive communities.

Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday 28th October, 2025 6.30 pm

The Strategic Planning Committee of Westminster City Council met on 28 October 2025, and approved plans for the refurbishment of 55 Baker Street and the demolition of Latimer House at the University of Westminster, 115 New Cavendish Street, to be replaced with a new building.

Licensing Sub-Committee (2) - Thursday 2nd October, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee (2) of Westminster Council convened to consider two premises licence applications. Councillor Maggie Carman, Deputy Cabinet Member - Adult Social Care, Supported and Specialist Housing, was scheduled to chair the meeting, with Councillor Md Shamsed Chowdhury, Deputy Cabinet Member - Streets and Lead Member - Edgware Road Champion, and Councillor Paul Swaddle OBE, Leader of the Opposition, also in attendance.
