South of the Borough Neighbourhood Committee - Wednesday 8 October 2025 7:30 pm

The South of the Borough Neighbourhood Committee agreed to allocate £3,000 each to Namaste Kingston CIC for a Diwali celebration and to Kingston Giving for its Catalyst Grants programme. Councillors also approved proposals for speed reduction measures on Bridge Road and Moor Lane, subject to statutory consultation.

Corporate and Resources Committee - Tuesday 30 September 2025 7:30 pm

The Corporate and Resources Committee convened to discuss key performance areas for the council. Councillors approved recommendations relating to a Corporate Peer Challenge, the annual handling of complaints, and the awarding of contracts for security. The committee also noted the revenue and capital budget monitoring reports, and approved a number of changes to capital budgets.

The South of the Borough Neighbourhood Committee met on Wednesday 16 July 2025 and approved a Neighbourhood Community Grant for Voices of Hope. The committee also received information about the viewpoint over the golf course from Huntingate Walk, Chessington.

Health Overview and Scrutiny Panel - Thursday 10 July 2025 7:30 pm

The Health Overview and Scrutiny Panel met to review Kingston's Adult Community Health Services, receiving an update on public health matters and discussing future work plans. The panel reviewed the plans for standardisation and developments in line with the 'left shift' to community based care. Councillors requested more information on the Connected Kingston website, and discussed how to involve the neighbourhood system and residents in health service changes.
