The Surrey Council cabinet is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, 16 December 2025 to discuss the future of primary school places in Reigate, and a direct award to Liquidlogic for improvements to case management systems. They will also be considering decisions taken since the last cabinet meeting.

The meeting of Surrey County Council is scheduled to include discussion of the Surrey Pension Fund, changes to cabinet portfolios, and a review of political proportionality. There will also be discussion of amendments to the council's constitution, and a report from the cabinet.

Communities, Environment and Highways Select Committee - Friday, 5 December 2025 10.00 am

The Communities, Environment and Highways Select Committee met to discuss the draft budget for 2026-27, the performance of the Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, and the impact of the Your Fund Surrey initiative. The committee requested a written briefing on the community budget reconfiguration, committed to including the updated community risk profile in future packs, and requested that any efficiency savings do not detrimentally impact the Greener Futures programme.

Cabinet - Tuesday, 25 November 2025 2.00 pm

The Surrey County Council cabinet met to discuss the 2026/27 draft budget, schools and early years funding, changes to adult social care charging policies, and the climate change delivery plan. The cabinet approved the draft budget for 2026/27, which includes a proposed council tax increase of 2.99%, alongside a 2% precept for social care, and also approved a number of property disposals. The cabinet also endorsed the coordinated admissions scheme for September 2027, and recommended the scheme to the County Council for approval.

Cabinet - Tuesday, 28 October 2025 2.00 pm

The Surrey County Council cabinet met to discuss the government's reorganisation of local government in Surrey, which will see the county's 12 councils replaced with two unitary councils in April 2027, and to address a number of other issues including a petition against the booking system trial at Camberley and Lyne Recycling Centres, and the expansion of the Woodland School. The cabinet also approved an increase in the net revenue budget of £1.274.8 million due to additional public health funding.
