Scrutiny Children & Young People Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 21st October, 2025 6.30 pm

The Croydon Council's Children and Young People Scrutiny Sub-committee met to discuss the Children, Young People & Education (CYPE) Directorate's transformation, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) transport, and performance data. The committee requested a report on the expansion of enhanced learning provisions and resolved to write to Ofsted about delays in registering children's homes.

Health & Wellbeing Board - Wednesday, 15th October, 2025 2.00 pm

The Croydon Council Health and Wellbeing Board convened to discuss mental health initiatives, anti-racism efforts, the Better Care Fund, and the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, among other items. The board agreed to publish the 2025 Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, and also approved plans for a workshop to shape the council's strategic approach to anti-racism.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 23rd September, 2025 10.30 am

Here is a summary of the agenda for the Licensing Sub-Committee meeting, which was scheduled to take place remotely on 23 September 2025. The meeting was scheduled to discuss applications for premises licences under the Licensing Act 2003 for two locations: 36 Brigstock Road in Thornton Heath, and Addington Palace Golf Club House on Gravel Hill. For each location, the sub-committee was asked to determine whether to grant the application.

The Croydon Council Licensing Sub-Committee met on 12 September 2025 to consider the determination of a personal licence, and to approve the minutes of their previous meeting. Councillor Patsy Cummings, Chair of the Licensing Sub-Committee, was scheduled to chair the meeting, which was held remotely.

Council - Wednesday, 16th July, 2025 6.30 pm

Croydon Council met on 16 July 2025, and among other business, agreed to changes to the council's constitution, and debated petitions relating to plant-based food and local issues. The council also discussed concerns raised by residents in Croydon Question Time.
