Liverpool City Region Combined Authority approved the acceptance of £5,763,110 in funding for the Mayoral Strategic Authority Apprenticeship Brokerage Pilot on 06/11/2026. The decision grants delegated authority to the Executive Director – Investment and Delivery, in consultation with the Executive Director – Resources and the Monitoring Officer, to enter into necessary agreements with constituent Local Authorities and other delivery partners. This funding will support the delivery of the pilot over the period to 31 March 2029.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority approved the establishment of the Liverpool City Region Health and Wellbeing Partnership Board on 06/11/2026. The Board will enable joint working to improve health and reduce health inequalities across the City Region. The decision included approving the proposal, endorsing draft terms of reference, and seeking nominations for local authority members.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority decided to approve changes to the Birkenhead Central Gateway (Argyle St) project, including a time extension. They also approved the transfer of £400,791 to the Greater Manchester Combined Authority for the Made Smarter programme and allocated £1,000,000 to the Housing Pre-Development Fund. Revisions to funding and project delivery for the Birkenhead Central Gateway (Hind Street) project were also approved.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority approved the Core and Commissioned model as the strategic framework for future business support. Delegated authority was granted to the Executive Director – Investment and Delivery, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Economic Growth and Regeneration, to develop the detailed commissioning and implementation framework. This decision was made on 06/11/2026.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority approved a grant allocation of £22,000,000 to Karrev (Martins) Ltd for the refurbishment of the Martins Bank building. Delegated authority was granted to the Executive Director of Investment and Delivery to finalise funding terms and the grant agreement. This decision was made on 06 November 2026.
