Development Funding For Bus Services

The Audit and Governance Committee of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority decided to review updated Terms of Reference and recommend their approval to the Board on 25 June 2026.

The Transport Committee of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority recommended to the Combined Authority Board to approve the allocated spend of proposed Section 106 developer funds, to approve the award to Stagecoach East for the Cambridge – Northstowe Citi 5 service, and to approve the allocated spend of S106 funds within Northstowe and Sawtry for community transport projects on 17 June 2026. The committee also noted follow-on work and detailed design of available developer funding into the Network Reimagining project.

Greater Cambridge Transport Strategy

The Audit and Governance Committee resolved to note an update on the ethical framework, recommend adoption of updates to the Constitution and Code of Conduct, and approve an updated Gifts and Hospitality Policy. The committee also considered a letter from the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman.

The Transport Committee resolved to note progress on the Greater Cambridge Transport Strategy and recommend its interim technical report be approved as the agreed interim strategic position. The committee also noted work towards a Statement of Common Ground.
