Transport Committee

The Transport Committee is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing key transport strategies and policies for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This includes the Local Transport and Connectivity Plan, the Bus Strategy, and the transport budget. It oversees the annual programme of strategic transport and infrastructure projects and delegates passenger transport functions to delivery partners.

The committee monitors performance in areas such as increasing public transport use, promoting sustainable travel, reducing road casualties and congestion, and improving connectivity in underserved areas.
