Renewal - Additional Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) Licensing Designation

The Cabinet of Westminster approved the renewal of the borough-wide Additional Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) Licensing Designation for five years from 31 August 2026. NCIL High Value Allocations - March 2026

The Cabinet approved £250,000 of NCIL funding from the Bayswater neighbourhood area for the WCC Strategic Transport and Connectivity Informal Side Road Zebra Crossings project on 16 March 2026. The Cabinet Member for Finance and Council Reform approved recommendations from the Rating Advisory Panel on 7 May 2026, determining applications for National Non-Domestic Rates Discretionary and Hardship relief. The Cabinet noted the revenue and capital outturn positions for 2025/26 on 13 July 2026 and approved the reprofiling of the capital programme.

Affordable Housing Pipeline - Strategic Outline Case for Multiple Sites

The Cabinet of Westminster Council decided on 23/02/2026 to approve the Strategic Outline Case conclusions and recommended Preferred Way Forward for four Housing Opportunity Locations: Bravington, Brunel, QMSC, and Sussex. They also approved General Fund expenditure totalling £5,437,728 for development to Outline Business Case for these locations, with a further £500,000 for QMSC to develop a funding strategy. The Cabinet delegated authority to the Executive Director of Regeneration, Economy and Planning to approve further evolution of the schemes, including options development, consultation, and viability work.
