The Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee of Kingston upon Thames Council decided on 15 June 2026 to approve recommendations. Councillor Olly Wehring was appointed Chair and Councillor Blaise Murphet was appointed Vice-Chair for the Municipal Year 2026/27.

The Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee decided on 15/06/2026 to approve recommendations regarding neighbourhood working arrangements. The committee resolved not to establish a Planning Sub-Committee and not to apply a 'guillotine' to meetings.

The Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee approved the Councillor Ward Funding arrangements for the Municipal Year 2026/27. Councillors will continue to allocate up to £2,000 of Councillor Ward Funding individually. The Neighbourhood Manager will maintain an audit trail of expenditure and monitor the overall budget and individual Councillor expenditure.

The Place Committee decided that the yellow box junction at Kingston Road / Elm Road remains in its current configuration and size. This decision was made on 04/06/2026. The committee resolved to maintain the current situation until a comprehensive report on the junction is submitted to the New and Old Malden Neighbourhood Committee and any differing layout is approved.

The Place Committee of Kingston upon Thames Council decided on 04/06/2026 to note the consultation results and approve the implementation of a zebra crossing on Coombe Lane West. The scheme will be implemented this summer.
