Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday 7 January 2025 9:45 am

The Kingston upon Thames Licensing Sub-Committee met to discuss an application for a new premises licence for Coffee on the Corner, a café located at 99 Beaconsfield Road, Tolworth. The application sought permission to sell alcohol on and off the premises from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday. The sub-committee decided to grant the licence, but with a condition that alcohol sales would not begin until 10am each day.

Planning Committee - Wednesday 18 December 2024 7:30 pm

The agenda for the meeting includes discussion of two planning applications and any urgent items authorised by the Chair, Councillor Mark Beynon. There are also notes for those attending the meeting, and guidance for the public on how they can get involved in the planning process.

Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee - Tuesday 17 December 2024 7:30 pm

This meeting will include discussions on possible funding for local community organisations and initiatives, an update on activity undertaken by the Surbiton Neighbourhood Ranger, and a review of a report into the Berrylands Area Healthy Streets Scheme. The meeting will also hear representations from members of the public and petitions submitted by local people. The meeting papers note that, in line with current standing orders, the committee may also consider any other business that the Chair deems to be urgent.

Pension Board - Wednesday 4 December 2024 10:00 am

This meeting was scheduled to consider the routine running of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Pension Fund, including updates on performance, projects and governance. It was also scheduled to receive a report on the government’s pensions reform consultation, and a proposed timeline for the 2025 actuarial valuation. The documents do not tell us anything about what was actually discussed at the meeting, or what decisions were made.
