Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee - Tuesday 9 December 2025 7:30 pm

The Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee met to discuss community safety, neighbourhood ranger activity, and a cycle route on Ewell Road. The committee received an update on community safety work in the last six months, and plans for the next six. A decision on the Ewell Road cycle route was deferred.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday 2 December 2025 2:30 pm, NEW

The Kingston upon Thames Licensing Sub-Committee met to discuss an application for a new premises licence for Cheat Meals, a fast food restaurant on Fife Road, Kingston. The application was granted with amended hours, permitting late-night refreshments until midnight from Sunday to Thursday (takeaway and delivery only after 11pm), and until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. The decision took into account representations from the Metropolitan Police, the council's Pollution Control Officer, and local residents, as well as the council's licensing policy and national guidance.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday 18 November 2025 9:45 am

The Kingston upon Thames Council Licensing Sub-Committee met on 18 November 2025, and decided to grant a variation to the premises licence for the Kings Tun, a pub on Clarence Street, Kingston upon Thames. The variation allows for extended hours for the sale of alcohol, late night refreshment, and regulated entertainment. The committee also agreed to amend a condition regarding door supervisors, giving the premises licence holder the ability to risk assess door supervisor requirements for nights other than Fridays and Saturdays.

Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee - Tuesday 4 November 2025 7:30 pm

The Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee convened to discuss community grants, planning applications, and the Berrylands Area Healthy Streets Scheme. The committee approved a Neighbourhood Community Grant and two allocations of Councillor Ward Funding. They also approved two planning applications, one for a change of use to a house in multiple occupation (HMO) and another for the erection of a detached dwelling.
