Cabinet - Wednesday, 3rd December, 2025 6.30 pm
At a meeting of the Cabinet of Croydon Council, the Executive Mayor of Croydon, Jason Perry, and cabinet members unanimously approved recommendations regarding environmental enforcement, conservation areas, transport funding, equality, financial performance, fees and charges, and treasury management. The cabinet also announced the securing of £495,000 from the Home Office to invest in the Town Centre and Thornton Heath to tackle antisocial behaviour and reduce knife crime.

The Croydon Council cabinet met to discuss the 2026-30 medium term financial strategy, safeguarding, social care, housing and financial performance, and agreed to implement recommendations regarding scrutiny, safeguarding, social work and housing. The cabinet approved recommendations to keep the Council Tax Support scheme unchanged, and to review it in 2026-27. They also approved the Regina Road regeneration project, and noted progress on the housing strategy.
Council - Wednesday, 22nd October, 2025 6.30 pm
At a meeting of Croydon Council, the lead commissioner gave a statement on behalf of the commissioners, the council approved recommendations regarding external audit findings and extension to the term of the Independent Chair of Audit and Governance Committee, and councillors debated traffic calming measures on Spa Hill and improvements to Courtwood Park. The council also discussed a range of questions from the public, including concerns about building safety at The Fold and Malcolm Wicks House.
